How Do I Activate Sensors Purchased From LANA With LANA IoT?

Activating sensors with the LANA IoT platform is a breeze. 

 

  1. You can log in to your LANA IoT account from your phone or tablet. All your available sensors will be shown in your account.
  2. On the each sensor their is a serial number. Use that serial number to search for the sensor that you would like to update via the assets tab
  3. Here you will have the option to add picture of the location of where you placed/installed the sensor e.g. water heater, you will also be able to add a location name/identifier.

What Smart Sensors Can I Use With LANA IoT Platform?

The current LANA IoT approved sensor list includes:

 

  1. Codepoint CS1010 - Water Leak Sensor
  2. Codepoint CS1060 - Temperature and Humidity Sensor
  3. Dragino LWL02 - Water Leak Sensor

What Countries Does The LANA IoT Platform Work In?

The LANA IoT Platform is currently available across North America.

Do Smart Sensors Need To Be Connected To The Internet To Communicate With LANA IoT Platform?

The LANA IoT Platform uses the LoRaWAN network. Sensors connect to a LoRaWAN gateway or access point that allows the smart sensors to communicate with the LANA IoT Platform in real-time. Some LoRaWAN gateways need to be connected to internet via a ethernet cable and some have an internal sim card.



I Have Multiple Properties In Different Locations How Many LANA IoT Plans Do I Need?

If you have multiple properties in different locations in your city, county or across the U.S. you are currently required to purchase one plan per location.
