The Codepoint CS1010 water leak sensor is a small, compact, low-power, long-range water leak detection sensor that uses the LoRaWAN network for connectivity.

This water leask sensor has two sensing probes at the bottom and one at the top of the base of the device. A leak is immediately detected when liquid contacts any pair of the sensing probes, allowing for real-time notifications to you via the LANA IoT Platform.

Is the Codepoint CS1010 Water Leak Sensor Waterproof?

Yes, the Codepoint CS1010 water leak detector is waterproof with a certified IP67 rating. This ensures that you can reuse the sensor even after a leak has been detected

How Is The Codepoint CS1010 Water Leak Sensor Powered On?

The Codepoint CS1010 Water Leak Sensor is powered by two AAA batteries which provide 5+ years of operation in normal conditions.

To power on the sensor you need to:

1) Remove the four seal rubber pads from each corner on the base of the sensor

2) Unscrew the screws at the base of the sensor and add the AAA batteries

3) Screw the base back on and press the 'set button' located next to the base

4) The device will activate, blinking orange four times and begin issuing join requests. When successfully connected to the LoRa network the sensor will blink green four times. You will now see the sensor status and  location updated in your LANA IoT Platform.

Does the Codepoint CS1010 Water Leak Sensor Need A Wi-Fi Connection To Work?

No, the Codepoint CS1010 Water Leak Sensor does not require Wi-Fi. This long range, lower power sensor connects to the LANA IoT Platform using the LoRaWAN network via LoRaWAN gateway/access point.

Can The Codepoint CS1010 Water Leak Sensor Be Reused?

Yes, the Codepoint CS1010 Water Leak Sensor can be reused repeatedly after after getting wet. If the sensors batteries die you can also replace those with two new AAA batteries. You can also move the sensor to different locations and  easily rename it within the LANA IoT Platform.
